Joint Pulsing

Neigong for Joint Health

with Chris Cinnamon

Chicago
Friday - Sunday, October 23–25

In-Person Only | Limited Seating

What is Joint Pulsing?

A unique opportunity to learn a rarely taught internal practice (neigong).

Joint Pulsing is a rarely taught internal practice where you learn to gently open and close a joint from its center.

This internal practice stimulates circulation in and around your joints and helps your create more space and mobility within in your joints.

Once learned, you can incorporate joint pulsing into Tai Chi and Qigong movements, promoting joint health, and adding a deeper internal dimension to your practice.

Benefits of Joint Pulsing include:
• Supporting joint health and mobility
• Stimulating blood, fluid, and Qi flow in and around the joints
• Developing greater internal sensitivity and awareness
• Deepening Tai Chi and Qigong practice

What You'll Learn

During this Workshop, I'll guide you step-by-step through how to pulse your:

• Wrists, hands, and fingers
• Elbows and shoulders
• Feet and ankles
• Knees (especially valuable for improving knee health)

I'll also cover:

• How to safely and effectively work with a partner
• How to integrate pulsing into Tai Chi and Qigong movements
• Guidance for continuing your practice after the Workshop

In-person only. Seats are limited.

Why In-Person Only?

Joint pulsing is an internal practice learned and taught through partner exercises, close instructor observation, and real-time feedback.

Through structured exercises, joint by joint, you'll learn to feel how another person's joints open and close—and how to create those openings and closings in your joints.

During the Workshop, I'll closely observe each person's technique and provide hands-on coaching and adjustments.

For these reasons, I do not teach Joint Pulsing to groups over Zoom.

This is a hands-on training. Being in the room matters.

Meet Your Instructor

Thanks for your interest in my Fall Neigong Workshop | Joint Pulsing.

For those who learn and practice Joint Pulsing, it provides a valuable tool for supporting joint health and deepening your Tai Chi and Qigong practices.

Students often notice quickly how gently pulsing a joint can create a greater sense of ease, movement, and circulation around the joint.

That said, Joint Pulsing is rarely taught publicly. There are a limited number of teachers trained in this internal practice.

Plus, teaching Joint Pulsing requires close observation, partner work, and hands-on feedback.

I’ve taught Tai Chi and Qigong since 2012 and have led more than 10,000 classes.

My main teacher is Master Bruce Frantzis, founder of Energy Arts. I am trained and certified by Bruce to teach Joint Pulsing and other neigong methods within the Energy Arts system.

I'm also a Certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine, so the exercise science underlying these ancient practices is also an important element of my teaching.

I’m looking forward to sharing this practical and powerful internal training in Chicago this October.

If you're a Tai Chi or Qigong practitioner interested in deepening your practice and increasing its benefits for your joints, this Workshop will be especially valuable for you.

From Master Bruce Frantzis

Taoist Master, Author, and Founder of Energy Arts

“Chris is a terrific instructor. He is thoughtful and innovative. His dedication to Tai Chi practice plus his background in Exercise Physiology make him an excellent proponent for the health benefits of Tai Chi and Qigong. I encourage you to take advantage of opportunities to train with him in Chicago.”
