Our Spring Session starts this week at Chicago Tai Chi, and I’d love to show you what’s on the schedule.

Whether you're just getting started or looking to deepen your practice, we offer a full slate of Tai Chi and Qigong classes designed to help you move, relax, and re-energize.

Spring 2025 Class Schedule

All classes available via Zoom and In-Person

Tuesday

Beginning Tai Chi / Short Form 1
11:00–11:45 am
Learn the first half of the 27-Move Wu Style Short Form
Ideal for: Beginners or those seeking review

Easy Qigong
12:00–12:45 pm
A midday energy boost through gentle movement
Ideal for: All levels

New Class! Tai Chi All Levels
5:30–6:15 pm
An inclusive evening practice session
Ideal for: Beginners and continuing students


Wednesday

Tai Chi for Balance – Level 1
10:00–10:45 am
Improve your stability, confidence, and coordination my my doctor recommended Tai Chi for Balance Program
Ideal for: Those looking to improve balance and avoid falls

Old Yang Style Medium Form
11:00–11:45 am
Dive deeper into this terrific Form the Yang tradition
Ideal for: Continuing students

Midday Qigong
12:00–12:45 pm
Relax and recharge midweek
Ideal for: All levels


Thursday

New Class! Tai Chi for Balance – Level 2
10:00–10:45 am
More movement, strength, and balance training
Ideal for: Students with Level 1 experience

Tai Chi Short Form 2
11:00–11:45 am
Second half of the Wu Style Short Form
Ideal for: Students who completed Short Form 1 or want a refresher

Evening Qigong
5:30–6:15 pm
End your day with ease and vitality
Ideal for: All level


Friday

Tai Chi Short Form 3
11:00–11:45 am
Refinements, variations, and internal practices
Ideal for: Those comfortable with the full 27-Move Form

Tai Chi Long Form
12:00–1:00 pm
Continue your Long Form journey
Ideal for: Experienced Long Form students


Saturday

We typically take the last Saturday of each month off.

Morning Qigong
9:00–9:30 am

Tai Chi Short Form Practice
9:30–10:00 am

Tai Chi for Balance Practice Level 1
10:00–10:30 am

Tai Chi for Balance Practice Level 2)
10:30–11:00 am

Intro to Taoist Meditation
11:00–11:30 am
Gentle guidance into an ancient meditation tradition
All Saturday classes are open to all Members
